As an American listener, this show has introduced me to dozens of cases I had no idea about. The Moors Murders episode alone was worth subscribing for. The hosts' obvious passion for justice comes through in every episode.

Thorough without being gratuitous

What I appreciate most about TWAU is that they cover truly disturbing material without ever becoming sensationalist. They're always focused on the victims and the failures of the system, not on making crime seem exciting. That's rarer than it should be.
